OWNER/COACH - Daniel Pokiieloaaikaikaokalani Lyman

CROSSFIT BACKGROUND: In 2007, as an Infantryman in the Jungles of south east Asia, during one of my 3 deployments over seas, I started my CrossFit journey. Through the years I have worked my way up from Member, to Coach, to Head Coach, to General Manager, and now Owner.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN: Work on the business or in the business day in day out, CrossFit East O’ahu is my life! The Ocean is my Nanea time away from all the Hustle and Bustle. Currently I am pursuing my Jujitsu Game with the Ohana at Ron Shiraki Academy.

COACH - Julie Watarai Lovett

CROSSFIT BACKGROUND: I started CrossFit in 2011 and instantly loved the competitive aspect and challenges in learning all the new skills. My favorite thing is Olympic Lifting, I find it so empowering. I love my CrossFit East O’ahu community and Coaching them is my passion.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN: CrossFit, Soccer Mom, The Beach is my church.

CERTIFICATIONS: CrossFit Level 1 Certification, CrossFit Mobility Certification, Invictus Athlete Training.

COACH - Jurrien “Joe” Kelling

CROSSFIT BACKGROUND: My wife brought me in against my will, but I enjoyed it. Was working out by myself overseas but when I came home I got my level 1 certification and started Coaching at CrossFit East O’ahu around 2012.

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN: Surfing, Shaping Surfboards, Wood Working, Beer Brewing.

COACH - Katie Graf

CROSSFIT BACKGROUND: I have been doing CrossFit since 2012 - Thanks to Matt Beals! I love that every workout is different and challenging. My faves are Overhead Squats and Snatches. “Give me a heavy barbell, turn on some Gangsta Rap and I am a happy girl”

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR FUN: Outside of CrossFit I surf and play in the ocean as much as I can. I am Mom and Best Friends with my two amazing daughters!

CERTIFICATIONS: CrossFit Level 1 Certification, Group x Classes at 24Hr Fitness for 10 years, TKB, Body Pump, and Cycle.
