After our owners took over Kapolei Strength and Conditioning (KSAC, also known as CrossFit Ewa Beach) in July 2014 and rebranded our second location as CrossFit West Oahu, there was a lack of certainty as to whether we would continue their tradition of holding their "Fittest Into" and "Cupid's Revenge" competitions. December came and went without a continuance of the Fittest Into competition, but in January, the decision was made to hold the co-ed partner competition, Cupid's Revenge, and to honor the tradition of holding it on the weekend near Valentine's Day. When we merged with Blue Coast CrossFit in February 2015, we stuck to our commitment to hold Cupid's Revenge, we just changed where it would be held to our new location. Cupid's Revenge 3 proved to be successful for us, but not without some lessons.
This year, we took those lessons into account, made some changes, and drew the largest field of teams in the competition's history - 65, including a large contingent from Maui. Cupid's Revenge proved to be another success for us and we hope to continue to improve our process and holding the premiere co-ed partner competition in the State.
